主要從事微生態(tài)資源與工程的基礎(chǔ)理論及應(yīng)用技術(shù)研究,，尤其集中于Prebiotics,、Probiotics和Postbiotics功能及機(jī)制方面的探索。主持有國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金項(xiàng)目4項(xiàng),，湖北省杰出青年人才項(xiàng)目1項(xiàng),，教育部留學(xué)歸國(guó)啟動(dòng)基金項(xiàng)目1項(xiàng)，主持完成湖北省科技成果鑒定項(xiàng)目1項(xiàng),，產(chǎn)業(yè)合作項(xiàng)目多項(xiàng),。
